Film-making Q&A With Miro Remo

For Miro Remo, the love for filmmaking runs in the blood. He is a Slovak filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California whose 3 student films were shown in many festivals around the world. His latest film, Arsy-Versy, is the most successful film in the University of Performing Arts in Bratislava, earning 34 international and domestic awards! And if that's not cool enough, he used a LomoKino camera for the band Swan Bride's music video.

Here’s a heads up for anyone who missed Miro Remo’s wonderful Arsy Versy during its festival run; the film is now available online! Miro Remo: I like films that are powerfull (copy 1)

Slovak director Miro Remo sat down with Tomáš Hučko of DOKO to talk about his latest documentary film and his approach to filmmaking. Since its release in October 2009, Remo's Arsy-Versy has been picking up awards at film festivals around the world, with late April screenings scheduled at the San Francisco IFF and Hot Docs.
